An unyielding cosmic force, obedient to our manipulation yet forever unbeatable, stands as the ultimate equalizer, claiming us all in the end.

If something is worth investing in, our time is one of the most valuable resources. So, enthusiastically dive right in and embark on that new project, learn that new software, nurture those plants, pursue those piano lessons, or any other venture you choose. To me, no amount of money, circumstance, or any other form of compensation could persuade me to misuse it. I ardently practice and explore the things that pique my interest, delving deep into their essence and beyond. I cherish learning and crafting things with my hands even more.

Below, you'll find examples of current and past work. I hope they effectively convey my technical knowledge, skills, and most importantly, the passion I've poured into the creations I've been involved in over the years. If they don't, then I suppose I've been investing a significant portion of my life in pursuits that may not align with my perception of this moment on earth. Oh, well.

Thanks for being here. ✌🏼

⟠PHOTOGRAPHY

• Before tattooing full-time, I did some commercial, editorial, and product photography work. I also ran a nightlife/documentary photostream website in the early 2000s (www.iwas-there.com).

• Photography has been a cherished hobby since childhood. Influenced by famous street/landscape photographers, cinematographers, and the fascination of the mechanical workings of film cameras like learning to disassemble and repair them. I enjoy shooting day-to-day life/documentary, macro, botanicals, animals/nature, light abstractions, and products. My favorites are landscapes and portraits.

• I prefer to use color or black and white film stocks, but I use digital for most of my tattoo documentation or any time-sensitive work. I process and develop film myself, and my favorite formats are 120 (6x6 and 6x9). I love making prints and usually announce new ones on my Instagram. I'm looking to offer fully framed/sealed photos soon, but for now, they will only be available for in-shop pickup/purchase.

⟠ DRAWINGS PAINTINGS & ILLUSTRATIONS

• Been practicing drawing, painting, and other traditional art mediums since childhood.

• Mostly self-taught, but owe a huge gratitude to two local organizations that encouraged me to focus and improve my skills at an early age: After School Matters & Gallery 37. These spaces also became a place of refuge, helping me stay out of trouble and off the streets.

• Like using oils, acrylic, pencils, airbrush, aerosol, markers, watercolor, charcoal, and more.

• Proficient in most modern creative software and tech. Favorite apps include Affinity Designer, Procreate, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

• I sell original art and photo prints and open to commissions/collabs. Find me on Instagram for commission work.

• Most Recent project: The Songbird Wall (a collab with Chicago's Bear Champ - JC Rivera).
