TRANSPARENT FILM DRESSING

The dressing is crafted from a breathable, hypoallergenic, and transparent polyurethane film. It adheres gently to the skin, causing no irritation or discomfort. Its transparent design allows for easy tattoo monitoring without removal.

However, some people might have allergies or sensitivities to the adhesive in transparent film dressings. Watch for signs like excessive redness spreading from the edges, itching, or a rash starting at the bandage edges and moving outward. If any adverse reactions occur, follow the removal instructions below.

Remains in place for 3-4 days and is waterproof, allowing you to shower, sleep, and live as usual without constantly tending to your new tattoo. However, avoid scrubbing or soaking the bandage directly until it's time to remove it.

It's perfectly normal for the bandage to accumulate fluids that may resemble liquid blisters. Your tattoo might appear a bit messy and unpleasant by the second or third day, especially if it contains a lot of solid black ink or bold color work areas. This is due to plasma or lymph seepage as your skin begins to heal.

Rest assured, this is all part of the normal healing process, even though it may not look great. 🤢 As long as these fluids remain contained within the bandage, it's okay to keep it on. If the bandage starts to peel early or exposes any part of your new tattoo, or if a fluid bubble pops, ✋🏼 don't panic—just follow the 'TO REMOVE' instructions below.

🏊🏼‍♂️ Avoid saunas, pools, oceans, and heavy sweating, like intense workouts 🏋🏻 until you remove the bandage. Wait approximately 3-4 weeks before immersing the tattooed area in water for extended periods.

And most importantly, don't forget to remove the bandage 3-4 days after getting your tattoo!

If you have a large or hard-to-reach tattoo, you can do this in the shower 🚿. For small, manageable tattoos like on your forearm, you can do it over a clean sink.

Use a mild, fragrance-free soap 🧼. Let warm soapy water run over the bandage to make it less sticky. Start by peeling and rolling it down from a top corner.

DON'T yank or tear it off like a sticker. Instead, slowly roll, push, and stretch it off while using the warm soapy water to wash away the goo and loosen up the glue.

Take it easy. Any imprints or fluids that ooze out 😵‍💫 from under the bandage are meant to come off. You're not harming your new tattoo.

🗑️ Toss the sticky slimy bits of the bandage away once it's all removed. With clean hands, gently wash 🧼 the tattooed area with warm, soapy water. Pat it dry with a clean paper towel. Some adhesive may stay after you wash and remove the bandage. Don't scrub, pick, or try to force it off the tattooed area. Any leftover glue will either dry up and flake off or come off as you shower 🚿 normally.

Keep the tattoo and the area around it clean ✨. Let your tattooed skin breathe 😮‍💨 and don't cover or re-bandage it.

🧴 Moisturize with a fragrance-free lotion whenever your tattooed skin feels dry, looks flaky and tight. Use a small amount; you don't need a lot. Avoid using excessive or thick, greasy ointments. The key is to hydrate your fresh skin cells without suffocating them. 🧬

Your newly tattooed skin might have a silvery sheen 🪩 at first, but don't worry; this is normal. It will fade as your tattoo heals on and your skin cells fully regenerate. 🧬 Keep up with the lotion routine until the sheen is gone, and your skin returns to its normal texture and appearance.

🚰 Stay hydrated and keep your tattooed skin moisturized to speed up healing and encourage healthy skin cell regeneration.

Your tattooed area might feel a bit tight or dry, but that's normal.

Expect some peeling, flaking, and light scabbing, especially in highly saturated color and black areas.

🚫 DON'T pick, scratch, or irritate your fresh tattoo.

🚫 AVOID skin products with alcohol, strong fragrances, or abrasive additives.

⚠️ LIMIT sun exposure. ☀️ The sun can age tattoos, causing them to blur, fade, and spread sooner. This especially affects detailed thin lines or fine details. Light-colored tattoos, like whites, pastels, yellows, and oranges, can fade faster in direct sun. If you're in the sun, use sunscreen, but only after a month of getting a new tattoo.

🩺 If you notice signs of infection, consult a doctor. Infections can happen if you swim in lakes or oceans with a new tattoo, trap heavy sweat under the bandage, or come into contact with dirt where germs can stick. 🦠
